Hi Mark, we are interested in creating a 1 or 2 pack ipl volume for disaster recovery. I looked at your samples for both types. Is the only difference between them is that the 2 pack job includes unix, tcpip and ishell. Are these required to ipl z/os 1.13 which is what we currently run. Anything else we should be concerned with to do this.
Thanks

Hello,
Greetings!!!
I went through your website for Mainframes.
Its really useful and informative.
Actually I need help in REXX.
I need REXX macro code where I can copy column-wise if I specify starting and ending position of column.
My requirement is like,
e.g
aaaa ffff kkkk
bbbb gggg llll
cccc hhhh mmmm
dddd iiii nnnn
eeee jjjj oooo
If i give like 'CUT 6 9' or 'COPY 6 9', then below must be copied
ffff
gggg
hhhh
iiii
jjjj
After if i give 'PASTE' in a dataset, then the above copied column must be copied.
Can you please help me with this b sharing the REXX Code.
Thanks & Regards
Ganesh
